We see a man whose face, hair and beard made up from the same colors and patterns of the clothing he is wearing. While this started as a creative use of color and form, it became a comment on those who where uniforms and what ascribe to wearing them. This includes not only soldiers and police, but also doctors, Klansman, and anyone else who is defined by what they wear.
